Meet Our Talented Guzheng Coach
Tan Soo Ee
Miss Tan Soo Ee is a highly accomplished guzheng performer and instructor, with an impressive list of achievements and accolades. She graduated with a Music Diploma from the Malaysian Institute of Art in 1996, where she was mentored by renowned guzheng masters Ms. Chew Geok Wah and Mr. KP Phang. She went on to pursue advanced studies in guzheng at the China Conservatory of Music in Beijing, under the tutelage of the esteemed Professor Lin Ling. Tan Soo Ee's dedication to the guzheng has earned her numerous awards and recognitions, including the prestigious Excellent Instructor Award at the International Guzheng Contest in Hong Kong in 2013. She has also been invited to conduct workshops at the Malaysia Guzheng Festival and has served as a judge for the same event, showcasing her expertise and passion for the instrument.
